Khromat
Khromatai are a mammalian alien species that look similar to mustelids crossed with big cats, but are more biologically like humans. Their species has massive ethnic differences which spilt into 10 groups called Kafarai, but all Khromatai sport the same ability to change the color of their fur. They can also mate with almost any other mammalian species, which is why their species is so diverse.
