Translation Notes
魔天楼 (matenrou) is used here to mean "Slyscraper", but literally translates to "devil's tower". This is a pun on the word "skyscraper", 摩天楼 (matenrō), where the kanji for "scrape", 摩 (ma), is replaced with the kanji for "devil", 魔 (ma). Note how similar the two kanji look!
Our characters here are DAWN (ドーン) (the "king") and Midnight (ミッドナイト) (the "queen").
Keen-eyed viewers may notice a certain familiar pair in the MV at 1:36.
Why... it's Kalmia and Clay from the Shama series!
This implies Slyscraper takes place within the Shama universe.
To my knowledge, this is sort of a childhood-loves-reuniting story. There aren't extensive writeups on Slyscraper quite yet the way there is for Shama, Wozwald, and Traffic Light, so a lot of what I've got is speculation.
Midnight is an idol who has grown separated from DAWN, a childhood love. She's all over the news, the city's biggest star. DAWN, left as a down-on-his-luck criminal, wishes the two could reunite and relive their old days, free of the paparazzi.
